So this is what happens when you go to the mall on a Wednesday with my sister. Damn you Google for having such fun things to play with!
On Motivation…
First let me just say that it is F**king cold in Chicago. I know I know it will get worse and I should stop whining but seriously. The coldest it got where I was in China was about 30 so this is ridiculous! I hate snow…and I would actually rather it be snowing right now, at least then it would be warmer.
So now that I have complained about the weather we can talk about motivation…of which, I have none. I have been struggling to get some semblance of a workout plan since I came home in July. When I arrived back on US soil I was the most fit I have been since High School. Since then…well I’ve gained almost 30 pounds. I would like to believe that I was really bloated yesterday and the scale at the doctor is a lying evil bitch but that is probably not the case. The truth is…I lack motivation.
Do you have this problem?? If it is cold where you live how do you keep up your workout plan?
I genuinely miss doing Insanity with my coworkers in China and our made up bootcamp style workouts outside. Now that it is cold I have to force myself to get to the gym…which clearly hasn’t been happening.
So…blogger world. I need some motivation!!! If you have any at home workouts, blogs that have great workouts, anything I am all ears(well technically eyes)
Monday Mornings
After my drive this morning I am starting to take the idea of moving out of Chicago seriously. I hate snow. I know I know…everyone complains about it but I can’t help myself. I am a terrible driver when the roads are clear so add in snow and I hate the world even more.
I wish I could say I had some amazing exciting news for this Monday but I don’t. I had a good weekend, the school’s staff Holiday Party was this weekend at Cafe Ba Ba Reba love that place! Whats a better way to spend your Saturday night then tapas and Sangria…and its all free!
Sunday the family went to the Walnut Room at Macys downtown. This place… its definitely a tradition and its always a great time and the food is good. We waited 2 hours this time, which is just fine if your walking around and if your seeing Santa(we did not this year because my sister & nephew were missing)
What did you do this weekend? Do you have any Holiday traditions or places you visit with family this time of year?
