Its Friday!!! Wooo hooo!

I figured I would share 5 things I plan to do this weekend….

Go Ice Skating in Millennium Park with a bunch of other couples from our Meetup Group!

Of course, it is going to be damn cold all weekend…of course.

Watch last night’s episode of Scandal. Really hoping to do that today…drives me nuts when I am more than a day behind it!

See Catching Fire!

I am sad I didn’t see the midnight show but I have to be up 5 am on the daily…just couldn’t do it to myself and then I will re-read the book like I always do right after I see a movie!

Celebrate my good friend Summer’s birthday at Opart Thai House!

I haven’t had much time with her since I got back but I am excited to have dinner with all the girls and just celebrate!

Paintball!

I am now worried because it is going to be a high of 25! Yikes but it is the last chance to go this year before the snow so I will suck it up and get shot at!

Also..side note ladies but paintball is actually a great exercise! I burned 1200 calories last time! I turned my watch off whenever we were sitting between games but in total we got a full 2 hours 20 mins of play and that burned tons!

Well Hello there!

I was completely uninspired last week and rather than post a bunch of link-ups I thought I would give myself a bi-week. I am doing much better this week…I think…it is only Monday so this could change.

Have you felt uninspired to blog at all? What are some tips or ways you got through it??

I thought I would share some photos from my iphone to give you an idea of my life lately.…

I really want to warn you that it is mostly food and not enough of excitement

I was dying for some good Thai food so The Boy and I set out to make me some Panag chicken & we did not disappoint

Then I caught a nasty cold….some Pho because who doesn’t love it when they are sick!

Went on a tour of Lake Effect Brewery, that I mentioned before having heard about it on Stephanie’s Blog! We had a great turnout, 3 other couples came out.

Random morning…this is what I have to deal with in bed…

I am not a fan of Mexican food…as I have mentioned a million times before but sometimes I can tolerate it. So we set out for breakfast and ordered Chilaquiles….I had no idea what was coming my way. If this looks huge in photo you have no idea!

Random Target visit with my mother….can’t make a trip without some kind of ridiculous photo!

I joined a secret santa gift exchange on a blog I follow Fat Mum Slim I think I mentioned it before…but after stalking my partners FB postings in the group and asking questions on Elfster I finally got some of her gifts and I am soooo excited to send them! They are going to Australia so I am going to put them in the post hopefully by the end of the week. Just waiting for one more thing!

Also…already bought & wrapped my nephew’s gift. I refuse to wait till the after Thanksgiving rush to do the easy shopping…it will make me nuts!

For those of you in Illinois you experienced the storms yesterday. I am sending lots of positive thoughts to the people who suffered all the damage by the tornadoes and storms. I was stuck in Target for about an hour because of the rain and wind. For about 20 mins they asked everyone to move to the back of the store and then after I just sat waiting till I thought I would actually be able to drive the 2 miles back to my parents. Definitely scary stuff.

What a week! I am so glad its Friday!

So since I have not one special thing to discuss with ya’ll I will list 5

{1}

One of my the parents brought me a Pie Pumpkin so I will be attempting to make Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread at some point this weekend…if it fails then good old pumpkin pie it is!

If you happen to know any other recipes that use real pumpkin let me know so I can try them!

I signed up for a Belly Dancing class. I am sure I’ve mentioned before one of my very close friends Bellydancer is well…a belly dancer. She is still in Thailand right now so I thought it would be fun to take a class and show her my moves when she got back but I loved the first class and decided to sign up for a 7 week session at Arabesque Chicago!

Since I joined the class I decided to add some really cute things from Etsy to my Xmas wishlist!

Ya know…just in case you are feeling generous!

I joined a gift exchange on Fat Mum Slim’s blog and I am super excited. I was paired up with someone in Australia and I have to stalk her on social media and Elfster to figure out just what to get her. Its all very elaborate with a Facebook Group and everything. I love getting things in the mail, so if you like to send mail of any kind feel free to send something my way!!

Two more 5k’s coming up I have to sign up for! Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot and Santa Hustle!

Because who doesn’t love a good themed 5k? If your in Chicago and want to run the Santa Hustle join me! I’m really really really hoping it doesn’t snow! It did my first year.

I am excited for the weekend to finally be here! Three day weekend!!

After reading about Vimbly on Stephanie @ Not Entirely Perfect’s blog I checked out the options and signed The Boy & I up for the brewery tour…turns out the place is actually walking distance to his house! So I put it in our Couples meetup as an event and it was a big hit so we are going tomorrow with 5 other couples.

I can’t think of a better way to spend my Saturday Afternoon!
