I went on a 2nd date with Mr.Hops! It was kind of a last minute decision, I was supposed to be joining some coworkers for a screening party and didn’t want to go alone since A has come down with germies and is sickly at home. I text him asking what he had planned for the night and he responded taking me out. So we did! We headed to a bar/lounge and had drinks and hung out. I thought I might make it to the party but it didn’t happen and I am definitely ok with that! I had a great time! 

I actually  almost forgot about the Grammys because well…yea I am just not a big awards show gal. So lets see….the performances were pretty good. I have no idea who was wearing what but I know I thought Carrie Underwood looked amazing! Adele was fantastic! I was really slow to get on the Adele bandwagon but once I joined I realized she has serious talent. She deserved all those awards and then some! Ummm what else…Rihanna needs clean up that mess of hair, Nicki Minaj makes me want to punch her through the screen. Loved the song Katy Perry performed though not so much her outfit or performance. Blake Shelton & Adam Levine….yes please!!! 

It was my mama’s birthday this sunday! We went for Sushi at our fave family sushi place and had a grand ole time! We got her a Pandora charm bracelet for her bday, we hope she loved it and it seems she did! I can’t tell you how old she is but I tell you she doesn’t look like she is old enough to be my mother! 

oooh Whitney! I was definitely sad to hear that she died. She was yet another troubled but amazing talent. I don’t presume to know what drove the woman to ruin her life with drugs but I can only say that it is a sad story. This was my favorite Whitney Houston song!!
