Seeing as how I had a 5 day weekend you would think I would have blogged Weds-Friday but instead I did my very best to avoid going anywhere near the computer. I spend a lot of time staring at a screen and my eyes were so thankful for a break.

So a quick recap of my weekend:

Weds…sleeping in…making cookies and Rumchata hot chocolate prep for Thanksgiving. (Tomorrow I plan to post the recipe for the Rumchata hot chocolate and you all may just love me forever)

Thanksgiving was great….very low key and different from the previous years. We got up and ran the Turkey Day 5k in the morning… My sister went to Louisiana with her boyfriend and my nephew so my parents, brother & I went to an aunts house and enjoyed way too much food! 

Friday I finally got to see Catching Fire and it was amazing as expected. I really need to work on my bladder issues. I peed right before the movie started and really avoiding drinking anything and still felt like I might burst before the movie ended. 

Saturday & Sunday was a lot of downtime and just enjoying the nicer weather we had. I went to a Friendsgiving for The Boys friends, had a lunch catch up with Snifferella and decorated the tree at my Mrs. M’s with my siblings….

How was your Thanksgiving? Did you get any shopping done?? 

But I wanted to share this little bit of photos with you! I did almost everything I said I was going to do on my Five on Friday list this weekend….only missing watching Catching Fire.

Well Hello there! 

I was completely uninspired last week and rather than post a bunch of link-ups I thought I would give myself a bi-week. I am doing much better this week…I think…it is only Monday so this could change.

I was dying for some good Thai food so The Boy and I set out to make me some Panag chicken & we did not disappoint

Then I caught a nasty cold….some Pho because who doesn’t love it when they are sick!

  I joined a secret santa gift exchange on a blog I follow Fat Mum Slim  I think I mentioned it before…but after stalking my partners FB postings in the group and asking questions on Elfster I finally got some of her gifts and I am soooo excited to send them! They are going to Australia so I am going to put them in the post hopefully by the end of the week. Just waiting for one more thing!
