Yes I am a day late but you  know how that goes. I had a very interesting weekend with K in town and even though we dealt with a lot of drama from her Jamaica trip we had a great time and I am super happy to have seen her

I loved our costumes and we saw some pretty damn great ones! It took us days of sewing and forever to perfect it all but in the end I loved them!

How fun was that costume!?! So far this has been my favorite costume I have worn though I did really love last years Ninja Turtles!

I love Halloween…even with all the nonsense that has been going on in my life I still love it and K is coming into town today!! Woo hooo for that.

Things are starting to look up for me so you all will happy to hear there probably won’t be anymore depressing posts.

I love carving pumpkins but this year I was inspired by Ms. Hautemess  and decided to pretify my pumpkins. I know that word does not exist but it kinda does.

I’ve also rediscovered my love for Candy Corn this year. So my desk is a combo of pretty little pumpkins and bags of candy corn. I also need to thank the candy corn for the stomach aches I’ve had for a week straight. So good but terrible for you. If I keep this up I will be toothless by Halloween.

Anyway the point of that was that in an effort to find a work appropriate costume this year I went to the store with the idea that I would find anything and zombify it but of course what really happened was that I walked out of the costume store with a face mask and some peacock wings. Yes, this is what happens to  me when I can’t decide on something. So this years picture will feature me in a stupid mask with stupid wings.

The costume that I have planned for this Saturday is all kinds of fun. I spent the few days working hard with my coworker and roommate sewing and cutting up stuff to make it. Sooooo very excited!! Of course I can’t show you till I get a good picture in the costume but I am very very excited. I love homemade costumes and I especially love being able to dress up with someone(s).

Yes baby it is finally Friday. I was just thinking to myself I would like there to be a day that I don’t wake up on a Monday counting down the hours till the weekend.

Last night I went for drinks & tapas with the girls and it was delicious and a good time.We tried this new place Meze, unfortunately online it said they had these great Happy Hour deals but once we got there that was not the case.  Bellydancer and I decided to venture to the Adult shop not too far from the restaurant. I got a few fun new things to add to the treasure box. She and I sat in the car and talked about our lives and relationships for about an hour. I love it when you just end up sitting there talking and don’t realize when an hour has gone by. 

This past weekend I went to a wedding for a friend I met right after Highschool. I met him at the same time I met the bestie G we are not nearly as close, shit I didn’t even know he had a girlfriend all that time. Anyway, it was a beautiful wedding. I wore a grown up girl dress and I like to think I looked fabulous. I had been to an Indian wedding only once before but it was great then and great this time as well. I am now convinced I should buy a Sari just to have! They had a photobooth at the reception too! I absolutely love weddings, always have.

My parents have been in Hawaii for a week now and for 1. I am extremely jealous and B. My mom is missing us like crazy and ready to come home so that is what happens when you leave the kiddies at home!
I baked the hell out of some Oat meal Chocolate Chip cookies and some brownies this week. I will post the recipes in a separate post sometime this weekend but my younger brother helped me with the brownies so that was a lot of fun.
