What to do what to do!! I planned to post about my weekend which was pretty fantastic but I’ll save that for tomorrow….

Random fact…the cafe I’m sitting at in Thailand is playing English Christmas music right now…on a Monday in August!

Anyway back to what I was saying…i have had my head set on going to China for this really good offer I got to teach kindergarteners…more money, free housing, flight reimbursement, and a bonus but I would be done in August of next year.

Then I got an offer in a bigger Thai city up north…teaching online video classes to Korean students…less money, more free time, staying in Thailand, being in a city with more foreigners and things to do.

I just came from a meeting with the guy and now I have no clue what to do. I know the most obvious answer is to go to China but a part of me has fallen in love with Thailand and its hard to commit to living another 11 months in another country..

I know this seems like a ridiculous dilemma but I’m stressed nonetheless…any advice?? I wish it wasn’t 3am in Chicago so I could talk to my mom haha

I thought when I moved to another country that Mondays wouldn’t suck so bad…guess what? That is not the case! On Mondays the students are the worst…across the board in all the grades. That may be the case in America as well….but for sure no one has a good Monday with their kids here. 

So here are a few rants to start my week out right…


1. For some reason my AC in my bedroom does not turn itself back on after the power goes out(which happens at least once a week) so I wake up sweating and disgusted, get up, climb on a chair and turn it back on…this morning I did and a HUGE roach flew out of it. Thank you Monday. 


2. Getting around in Thailand can be a very very very stressful event. It took my roommate and I over 8 hours to get home from Pattaya yesterday. It should only take 2 1/2 at most. Thank you Thailand. 


3. Some people do not make good traveling partners no matter how nice of a person they are if you are not similar travelers in a few days you will want to strangle them with their own backpack strap. 


4. Being so exhausted all the time that you don’t want to work out, read a book or even move…just sit around and watch Vampire diaries can’t be healthy. 


5. Being stressed about getting my Chinese visa in time to not overstay my Thai visa is a pain in the ass…thank you airlines for being so expensive I can’t just fly home and back. 


eghhh I think that is enough whining for now! I am going to work on a post full of fun pictures for tomorrow! 

Last night I realized I have been so out of the blogging world its kind of sad! I think I got it in my head that I can’t post my normal mundane rambles and link ups while I am abroad but the reality is that Monday-Thursday I am living a normal life teaching kids just in a different country! Soo I am going to do my best to get back to keeping up with everyone and sharing my normal every day business. Luckily I did have a wonderful weekend but I don’t have time now to share it all with you so I will make a post for tomorrow with lots of pictures and things to share! I also have to put up some pictures from my first solo trip I took to an island the weekend before. I have never gone on a trip alone before and even though it was only for two days I am so glad that I did. Ook enough of that I will save it for that post!
