Thankful Thursday!

I was about to do a Its Ok Thursday post but I want to change it up a bit and just share with you all some of the things I am so thankful for right now….

–My Family- They are seriously amazing. I know I say it a ton but they have been so supportive and even though I know my mom is terrified of me moving across the world she shows me nothing but excitement and support





–The Boy...this is going to get me made fun of but I am so happy to have him back in my life. I love him and I am so glad that we worked things out. He is also being amazingly supportive knowing that it means that I will be gone for a whole year. 



–My Friends…ooh this is also another one I say all the time but I love them 🙂 They are great and I am trying to spend as much time with them as I can before I go! 



–Opportunities! Yes seriously how many people get the opportunity to travel across the world to do something they love doing and get 8 job offers to do it? Not many! OOh and this is the town I am pretty sure I will be moving to: Zhongshan City 





-I am so thankful for blogging! I love being able to share my life with everyone and read about everyone else’s lives as well. AND I love all my new blogger friends…hopefully one day I will get to see them IRL! 


–The internet...haha I had to say this one! Without the internet I would not be able to go to school online, skype and keep in touch with people! 


–Everything...I think I am just very thankful for everything today. I don’t know why I woke up in such a great mood but I am just feeling so happy with my life right now.

Friday O Friday!

Couldn’t be happier that it is finally Friday!! I drove to work today and there was no traffic…amazingly a blessing and a curse. I didn’t want to murder anyone but I was 45 minutes early to work. We all know I am not up for working than I have to! 


Weekend plans? Yes I has them! Tonight dinner with the girls and some much needed drinks! Tomorrow morning bright and early the Bunny Rock 5K. I thought I posted about this last year but it seems I did not so here is what it looked like: 

I am excited to run it even though I have not really run more than 2 miles in the last month. Don’t judge me I have been sick and then just lazy. 


Sunday! Ooh yay for Easter sunday! Church, brunch and egg hunts in store! Can’t wait!!! 


Now some random stuff! If you recall a couple Fridays ago I wanted to share some of my Draw Something fun with you! Well, here we go! 


1. Clown-Umm yes that is a Clown(BTW I am terrified of clowns and this traumatized me a little bit) 
2.  Wingman-I didn’t guess this one, even after I sent it to a friend for help
3. Bowling-I just thought it was fun
4. Wedding-it was cute 
5. Plant-I dont know why I picked this one but I liked it 
6. Cupcake-hehe I wanted to lick the screen! 
(again only one of those is a blogger friend so it links back to her) 

For some strange reason I didn’t polish my nails at all this week though I kept reminding myself too. Makes me feel a bit naked actually.

Weekend Recap

I know I’m a day late but I rarely find time to blog or even check out blogs on Mondays. 


Friday night’s dinner with the girls was a great time! I wish I had taken a picture but one of the girls did with her camera so eventually it will make its way to this here blog. We had dinner at Carnivale and the food there is soooo yummy! It was the first time I could get all 6 of us in one place together since November. I missed my girls so much 🙂 

Coconut Mojito= amazeballs! 

Saturday I called up The Boy and had him help me in my quest for a vehicle. I didn’t really plan to get a car, I was hoping to wait a few more days till I got paid again so that I would have just a little more to work with. Alas I did find a car and guess what your girl is riding around in now? 

yep! That’s my new(old) sexy beast! haha I love it! It was a great deal and I was so excited to find a beetle! 
We got some Puerto Rican food and then checked out the movie 21 Jump Street! 



HILARIOUS! no seriously, you need to go and watch this movie. I was snorting with laughter for a lot of the movie. 


Sunday I got up early to go see my family and my bestie A run the Shamrock Shuffle 8K. It was much warmer than I anticipated but I am glad it wasn’t cold and rainy. I wish I had been running it as planned but since I have been sick over and over again for the last month or so I had no time to train and I would be kidding myself if I thought I could run almost 5 miles after not running for over a month. 

I also got to see Hunger Games with my siblings on Sunday! Yay!!! 

I loved it! Love loved it! I know there were somethings that were changed and some parts left out but I suppose the movie would have been way too long if they tried to fit everything. I cried like a little girl and was so annoyed at the people that clapped when the last person was killed. I mean really?! They obviously missed the idea of who the real bad guy is. If you haven’t seen it, please do! and if you didn’t like it or want to talk about it let me know! I don’t want to put too much and ruin it for anyone. 


That pretty much sums up my weekend! I have so much going on this week! Starting my 3rd class, moving out of my apartment and into my parents, and I have my first interview tonight. EeekkK!!!!
