On Spring Breaks in Punta Cana..part dos!

April 8, 2016

Heyo! I said I was going to share the rest of the Punta Cana pics on Thursday…I lied. So here they are!!

Drinking mojitos and listening to the band!
We decided to take a chocolate making class they offered at a shop in our hotel. I discovered the amazingness of Chocolate tea and ended up buying 3 bags. It tastes like hot chocolate without the milk. It is amazing and I am going to be really sad when its all gone.

My father & siblings were also in Punta Cana at the same time (our trips overlapped a couple days) We were originally going to do the buggie adventure with them but because of Easter weekend all motorized activities in the country were put on hold so they missed out. My father picked us up from the resort and drove us around Punta Cana a bit so we could see the different locals spots. Then we went to a very well known restaurant Jellyfish and the food was fantastic! Seriously. Apparently a lot of people have weddings there since is right on the beach and very well known.
Can you see the resemblance?!

We decided to leave the resort for some more adventure and did a tour with buggies/carts? and a visit to a co-op farm, a beautiful non-touristy beach and a cave with a natural pool.

It was an awesome trip! I would definitely go back and highly highly recommend the Gran Bahia Principe if you are headed down there!

Hump Day!!

July 3, 2013

Hey there! In case you haven’t already you should go here and sign up for this awesome giveaway for Christine @ Life with a side of Coffee‘s birthday!

This past weekend GCGirl, Saffer & I went to Hong Kong for what might be the last time and did some shopping and just hanging out. We took the ferry from our town for the first time and after we got off the ferry and past the border control I realized I left my cell phone on the boat. FREAKING OUT. I tried to cross back but they wouldn’t let me, gave me a number to call in the morning. I was beyond stressed and I tried calling 3 different times and telling them they I  knew exactly what seats I dropped it between and that they had to actually go to the seats and look. Of course, they finally called me back to say they couldn’t find it. Then we get to the docks to ride the ferry back and get on the boat. Saffer suggested I go check the seats just in case its the same boat and guess what? There was my phone stuck between the two seats I told them it would be. I could not have been luckier and that was probably the most exciting thing to have happened to me in the past month! Haha ook so yea….

I try to always visit Hard Rock when I go somewhere..its  become a new thing so  the girls were more than happy to stop there and get some western food and drinks with me!
The first proper western breakfast I have had in a whole damn year!!!
The Starbucks in HK had Red Bean Green Tea muffins so I had to try one! It was not as good as the drink though 🙁

Wish I had taken more photos but my camera is still broken from that trip in Jan/Feb and my Iphone was gone so yep!

Bungee Jumping in Macau!

June 11, 2013

Sooo remember when I said I would bungee jump off the Macau tower? Well…I did it!

and

I didn’t die or crap my pants…the people at AJ Hackett are seriously amazing. The jump was expensive but very much worth it. They made jokes and reassured me if I cried I wouldn’t be the first.

so here are some photos! I wanted to post the video but its too big so I will have to figure out how to make it a bit smaller.

It was definitely an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone who might be slightly crazy 🙂
