Advent Calendars – I love them! They are a great way to get engaged and countdown. Also they are super fun for kids and adults! Last year I made AJS a DIY Beer Advent Calendar and he absolutely loved it. This year I filled it with All Texas Brewed Beers! He got me the 12 days of Harry Potter socks last year and again this year. It is so much fun to have a little something to open everyday! 

Christmas Pajamas – A few years ago we decided to do away with fancy Christmas and start doing PJs instead and it has been great! We also get a pair of a pjs on Xmas eve but we all like to pick out fun ones to wear for the day. I am partial to onesies (they can be worn to other things all year long!) This year I have this adorable reindeer onesie!

Christmas Day Traditions – My family usually gets up, opens Santa gifts, eat leftovers and head to the movies in our pajamas. It is something we have been doing for ages. This year I won’t go home to Chicago until the 26th so I have already let AJS know that we must continue this tradition on our own. We plan to make a fun brunch and then get our friend to join us for a movie. I want to go to Alamo Drafthouse to see Elf since they do a bunch of fun stuff with the movie!

Christkindlmarket – This is one of the things I most look forward to every year so I was so happy that even though I moved I got to go when I was home for Thanksgiving. I always get the souvenir cup w/some mulled wine and then potato pancakes while I freeze my ass outside. Its a tradition and I love it. I was sad when they stopped making the cups in the shape of boots but the new designs they have come up with are so cute! This year was a heart shape.

12 Days of Socks- Last year A got me and my cousin Nena each 12 days of socks from Target. Her’s was Disney last year and mine Harry Potter. This year he sent me back to Chicago with a package for each of us to open that was this year’s 12 days of socks! Mine are the newest Harry Potter and her’s is Disney Princesses. Believe me when I tell you I am excited. Also this means I haven’t had to buy socks because 12 is plenty and also when I take my shoes off at the airport people always laugh at my socks!

Thanksgiving Blend – Last year A got me a couple boxes of Kcups from the Starbucks in his store that were Thanksgiving blend. I had never tried it and definitely didn’t think I would like it…but OMG. Im obsessed. It is so delicious. You may still be able to find a package in your local Starbucks and if you do get it! I love the spices and especially if you like to make coffee at home and get tired of the same old flavors this is a fun holiday blend.

Google Drive & Google Photos…This is a random one but I use it so much for work, for school, for my personal shit. I am always telling people to use it too. I prefer to keep all my stuff in one easy to locate place…especially if I can pull it up on my phone anywhere! My photos back up from my phone to google photos automatically and I have almost all of my photos from before off back up drives and onto there. If anything ever happens to google im probably screwed. 
After Bite…normally I prefer to keep the medicated stuff I put into or on my body to a minimum but I have become mosquito dessert here in Austin. I am not even kidding. Particularly my ankles. It has gotten so bad that I have the dark spots/scars all over my ankles now from scratching the bites. I currently have about 20 bites between both ankles right now from standing out in the street waiting for an Uber Saturday night. I am still in search of the right bug spray that doesn’t stink and has natural ingredients so if you know…>PLEASE send my way. BUT this after bite stuff works. Not even kidding you. I’m obsessed and my ankles really really need it! I get immediate relief after putting it on, it isn’t sticky and has an easy applicator so I don’t have to touch it. 
Tmobile Tuesdays…Sometimes they are great, sometimes not so much but they are always free shit. So that right there makes it a favorite. Last week I got $.25 off per gallon of gas at Shell. Yes please. I filled up my gas tank for $23!! Sometimes they have free tickets for movies, lyft credits, free Vudu credit,  discounted concert tickets. A month or so ago I got $25 free Grubhub code by visiting a Tmobile (on Tuesday) and getting an extra code. (I usually don’t bother but I actually had to be there that day!) So anyway…I always remember to check and sometimes its something I actually want!
