The Girl In the Maze by R.K. Jackson
A psychological thriller for fans of Gillian Flynn and Tana French. I like them, which is probably why I put this on my tbr. The reviews are not so great and in reading the synopsis I see something about hearing voices and doubting her sanity. I’m not sure I would enjoy that as much as just your regular crazy killer. Judgement: Go
Trouble by Kate Christensen
I’ve heard great things about Kate Christensen so I think that may be how this book came to be on my TBR but reading the synopsis I immediately thought “Ugh” so yea it’s a go. Judgement: Go
The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend by Katarina Bivald
“Once you let a book into your life, the most unexpected things can happen…” This has an interesting concept and I love books that have bookshops in them! Judgement: Keep
The Dragon’s Path by Daniel Abraham
A couple years ago I went through a phase where I was reading a lot of fantasy so I added lots of books and series to my TBR. I realized I probably shouldn’t add the whole series before reading the first book though so I did remove the other 4 books in this series but I still love a good fantasy! Judgement: Keep
The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
Another fantasy added around the same time so. I also removed the rest of the series (there were 6 more) from my TBR although this one definitely looks like something I want to read. A band of thieves. Yes please. Judgement: Keep
I think it is so interesting the way our reading tastes change over the years. I am sure when I added a lot of the books on my list I was probably reading really similar books at the time but I hope to be more deliberate with adding them and actually reading the summaries.
Have you read any of these? Think I should keep or drop one?
