Sharing my May goals and reviewing April
April Review
- No take out – Yes. Well. We did fairly well. Not 0 but only 2x and that is a HUGE improvement.
- Blog/Insta Planning – I started out well. I had worked on a bunch of posts. But then I got stressed about school and work and let it fall so this was a big fail.
- Reading – This seems to be the only thing I did so well this month. I finished 15 books.
- Get Outside– I did this! We either took walks during the week or made sure we did something outside any weekend that weather permitted.
- Spring Clean – Hahaha…well I tried. I did get rid of a few things. But the only thing I managed to really do was rearrange things.
- Less Spend – I did ok. I ended up having an large unexpected expense that was my own fault and pretty much wiped out the good work I had been doing with saving so I am starting all over again.
April was an interesting month for me. My reading finally picked back up but pretty much everything else fall by the wayside. With that ridiculous unexpected expense I got super stressed which always leads to crappy eating and pretty much shutting down on my end. Also, I traveled back to Chicago mid month and for some reason travel always sets me back on getting things done.
May Goals
- No Overplanning – May is a busy month. The end of the school year always is. I have to remember to say no to things I can control and not stress myself with too many plans.
- Blog/Insta Planning – I’ve got this. This weekend I am planning stuff out! But really I’d like to not be scrambling to post or skipping a full week because I forget.
- School School School– I am in the home stretch for school and I have a super super case of senioritis. I have to prioritize studying and homework time.
- Workout – Weather is good, gym is free. I need to see it more than 1x a month.
- Save – Period. I have to replenish those savings
