Happy Halloween Everyone!! 
Today will have to be Halloween related…of course

Does it mean you are old when you decide that being next to naked is not a costume? I think I might be getting old y’all. All I could think everytime I saw a girl half naked in costume was 1) its freaking cold, you look stupid. 2) That is not a costume, just come out in normal shit then. 
I don’t know. I might just be getting old…but even when I thought it was fun to be sexier for Halloween I never though that panties and a bikini top counted as a costume.

I absolutely love candy corn love love love…but only in like September when it first comes out and its all fresh and tastey in its horrible goodness. Also, it makes me sick everytime. It could be that I eat nearly an entire bag in one sitting but I don’t know. I love it. I can’t help myself. 
What is your favorite Halloween candy?? 

Monday Funday?

Nah..those don’t exist.

But I just found out that the City of Chicago doesn’t have a special trick or treating day so I might actually get to give out some candy on Halloween! yay!! (This never happens because I live on a block with a ton of apartment buildings…but thenewguy lives by houses!!)

Anyway. Was a great, exhausting weekend. So here we are on Monday and I get to blab about it…

Friday…after weeks of back and forth Thenewguy declared that he would not be going out into the crowds on his only night off of the weekend so we had a little house thing. By little I mean his roommates and me. Still dressed up and was still a good night though!

Saturday... made some breakfast and then decided to finally carve some pumpkins before relaxing and heading out to the river north area for a Halloween Bar Crawl. Our costumes were a success and I only saw one other person as Louise the whole night. I think I might finally be done with going out for Halloween though…literally girls throwing up into cups by 10 pm…10 freaking PM. Not ok.

then…that night…

Sunday…Had some quality time with my sis and neice and nephew just hanging out. Then I headed back to the city to check out The Day of the Dead in the City of Chicago event at the National Mexican Museum of Art. I took plenty of pics but I think I will make a separate post for it.

Dating is hard…and sometimes super easy…and then sometimes meh. I don’t know. Sharing your life with someone can be so easy sometimes but working out the kinks of each other likes/dislikes and being able to put your trust in someone is way harder than I wish it was. I had a great trip with Thenewguy and I loved that we were able to travel so easily together since that is something I really value in a partner. I just think dating is hard sometimes.

On a happier note…have I ever mentioned to you guys that I hate wearing pants? I do. I wore jeans for the first time in over a year this past weekend and I felt so constricted and gross. I prefer dresses and skirts and I will wear tights and leggings for the cold but even those are a compromise because I don’t want to freeze.  Does anyone else feel like that?? Am I just a weirdo?
